Problems are structured reports, not an open complaint board. Moderation keeps them technical, protects reporters from retaliation, and stops vendors closing issues they have not actually fixed.

Moderation policy

Keep the technical core

Remove personal attacks and doxxing, but preserve the underlying report wherever it can stand on its own.

Rejections need a reason

A vendor can mark a problem not reproducible, but the public reason is mandatory and reviewable.

Only users confirm fixes

No vendor and no moderator can move a problem to confirmed resolved on a reporter's behalf.

Retaliation is actionable

A vendor pressuring a reporter offline is grounds for suspension of their claim, not just a warning.

Duplicates merge, not delete

Merging preserves affected counts and the original reporter attribution.

Every action is logged

Moderator, timestamp, action and rationale — so a disputed decision can be reconstructed.
