Review moderation
Removing a review also removes its historical effect on the score, not just its visibility. That is why the bar is evidence of manipulation or a policy breach — never a vendor being unhappy.

Grounds for removal
The only reasons a review comes down.
Burst patterns, duplicate identities, vendor-authored content, or undisclosed incentives.
The reviewer never used the product, established through verification or the review's own content.
Personal attacks, doxxing, or content unrelated to the product experience.
The vendor disagrees with it, it is negative, or it is inconvenient during a funding round.
It mentions a competitor favourably, or it is critical of the company rather than the product.
The problem it describes has since been fixed — an update, not a removal, is the right answer.
